So yesterday, with no Patriots playoff game to watch (wince), and it being (relatively) hot for December in Boston, my dad and I headed downtown to shoot some images. Well, I shot, he was the muscle.
The muscle almost came in handy too. I had it in my head that I wanted to make an image similar to this, but the light wasn't cooperating. So after a few minutes of frustration, we were walking back to the car when a guy walked up to us and said, "Como estas? That's a Polaroid fuckin' moment right there."
I don't think we were in any real danger, but we decided it might be a good idea to get back in the car nonetheless, lest we find out what other kinda moments were in store. This picture is somewhat of a deviation from the norm for me (and it kinda makes me dizzy), but the light wasn't great for the big scenics and I was interested in the grittiness of the chain link. Any similarity to a Cingular ad is a pure coincidence.
After we got back in the car, we headed over to Charlestown where I made an image much more "traditional" to my style.
