Brooke and Mike were married in early September in Ipswich. I shot with Rob, and you know how your mother always told you not to be on time, but to be early? This wedding was a great example of why you need to plan on being early for things.
Just when I got off of the highway, less than 5 miles from Turner Hill Country Club, I ran over a six-inch steel nail. Now who leaves STEEL NAILS in the road? Well, Ipswichians, that's who.
So there I was, in my shirt and tie, on my hands and knees changing my tire. I changed it in less than 15 minutes (can you say NASCAR pit crew?) and was only 15 minutes late to the wedding. Now I say I was 15 minutes late, but in reality, I was 15 minutes later than I'd anticipated, which was still 15 minutes before the bride. Didja follow all that? OK, good.
This wedding was one of the most enjoyable I have yet attended - Rob and I couldn't get over how much fun everyone was having.
