Presque Isle State Park

While in Erie this week, I got up at the crack of dawn (4:45 alarm, yuck) and headed over to Presque Isle State Park. (I mean, when there's a state park 8 minutes from your hotel, you kinda have to go, right? Especially when there's a lighthouse there (it was super lame)).

I'm not crazy about any of these shots, but like them all a little. I'm really trying to simplify my compositions, and the problem (one of) that I'm having is that as my standards increase, it's getting tougher and tougher to please myself.

I was inspired by these two guys (links here and here) to try some low contrast black and white's, different for me for sure, but it's all part of the process, right?
