Well, I got a break from baseball this weekend (a big break actually, we got rained out Friday) - but I'm in Rochester, New York, for my sister's graduation from The University of Rochester ("UR" to the locals. I always wondered, "You are what?" but I'm Orange, so I clearly don't get it.) The rain held off just long enough for commencement, but not quite for the after party (why does the rain always ruin the good part?).
Anyway, here are some images from the weekend (click to see them larger), of the graduate herself and her degree (and a few shots of the fund managers who paid for her degree...err...parents :-). (That's dad standing in the bottom photos, just checking to make sure they spelled her name right (they did)).
Also, that shot of her diploma was my first excuse to use my brand new Canon 500D closeup filter.
Anyway, congrats little sis - and good luck in D.C.! You'll be great!
