And now for the bad news. I didn't use my D300 for a week, and two days ago when I took it out of the bag...the top lcd was cracked. I didn't drop it, but as that is what appears to have happened, the damage is not covered under warranty. Nikon estimated it will cost $120-$200 to fix it, so Erin was kind enough to stop by my house on the way up here and pick up my D200 so I'll have a camera while the new one is out for repair.
