Bruuuuuuuce

Got home at 1:15 from Hartford after seeing Springsteen last night, and wow, what a show. Here's a link to the set list and Hartford Courant review for what was a fantastic show. It was the opening night of leg two of the Magic tour.

While he played a bunch of songs off of that new album, there was a great mix of older stuff, my personal favorites being "Reason to Believe" (off of Nebraska) and "Backstreets" from Born to Run. The best part was that he played a bunch of songs I hadn't seen when I saw him in '99 and '03. Today's gonna be a double up on the coffee day for sure, but well worth it, Springsteen never disappoints. Not only that, but check this out from USA Today:

"The first thing that I do when I come out every night is to look at the faces in front of me, very individually. I may find a certain person and play to that single person all night. I'm playing to everyone, but I could see one or two people and decide, 'You're the reason that I'm out here right now, and that I'm going to push myself till it feels like my heart's going to explode."

(The only thing that would have made it better would have been a full-access photo pass).
