I had the opportunity to shoot Mass. Gov. Deval Patrick this morning as he toured a Dedham elementary school and answered questions about last night's State of the State address. The above photo, my personal favorite from the morning, was just a matter of waiting for the right moment when Connor Quinn, 10, turned and looked over my shoulder.
The governor was speaking about his educations plan(s) so I wanted to highlight the student in the photo, after all it's his future the governor was talking about. I didn't have much time for the setup here, and I was really limited to on-camera flash (wince), but with the time constraints, there wasn't much I could do.
