Snow, snow and more snow
Not only did school start an hour late today, but we got out a half hour early. Where did this leave me? Super motivated to get some cool shots of the snow. I didn't hit any home runs, nothing I'm super excited about, but I did get a few decent shots, posted above. In the third one, I tried to frame the trail with the pine needles and lead your eye up the trail, it kinda works, but there's something missing I can't quite put my hand on. I think I like the top one the best though.
The more I think about it, I think that the light was missing today, I needed something like that ray of light to pop through the clouds or something, anything, I dunno. On one hand, it wasn't a great day, on the other, I don't want to make excuses and try to make great images every time out, as I think the greats can/do.

Nice snow shots. I like the second one the best.
You know you can link to your flickr photos directly from your blog and make a slideshow? You just need to use the free Pictobrowser. Go to my blog (http://www.brownphotographic.com/blog/blog.php), then on the first slideshow, in the bottom right corner, click on 'Pictobrowser'. Then sign into flickr with your screen name. Then choose a set, keywords or groups and then copy the code and paste into your blog. Free, easy slideshow!
A set of really deep, well-defined footprints leading up the center of the trail would have been cool and would have provide some more definition to the trail...it kinda gets lost in the middle of everything.
