A new angle on something old
So the Colt State Park thing didn't work out so well and we ended up back in Newport. I've been to Castle Head Light three times now (here and here for more cliche shots), so I wanted to try for something different, hence the lighthouse at F/4, with the focus on the rocks. Processing was minimal, just some light vignetting and sharpening on the rocks. I don't so much love it, but I like that it's different, if that makes sense. Hopefully I'll come up with some more dramatic images on the Cape Friday.
The top shot is your truly firing away with my 17-55 and D200 combo, taken by photojournalist extraordinaire, Erin.
