I setup my SB-80DX on a Home Depot clamp directly behind the backboard at 1/8 power and 24mm in optical slave mode and put my SB-600 on my camera bare bulb style and was able to get my exposures straight during the JV game so that not a moment was wasted come varsity time. Here are some shots that will better illustrate how I did this.

Keep your eye on the ball (camera on a monopod held above my head for this one).
No flash, yick.

Dude! That is so freaking cool! I wanna do that!! Like right now. I could be like a bird!! You can come too...to take photos. :-)
